Then Matt abruptly left town, and he broke not only Ella’s heart but those of their best friends, too. So when he shows up a year later with a plan of his own—to relive the night that brought them together—Ella isn’t sure whether Matt’s worth a second chance. "Maddie Diaz never should have taken that shortcut through the park. If she hadn't, she wouldn't have seen two members of the Reyes gang attacking a homeless man. Now, as the only witness, she knows there’s a target on her back. But when the Reyes jump her on the street, Maddie is protected by a second gang and their secretive leader, Lobo, who is determined to take down the Reyes himself. Lobo is mysterious and passionate, and Maddie begins to fall for him. But when they live this close to the edge, can their love survive?" (Summary from goodreads.com)

I really liked On the Edge and read this book in one sitting. I was looking forward to reading this one because the whole premise sounded great. From chapter one I was wrapped up in this story and couldn't put it down.

Maddie has a target on her back after she sees two members of the Reyes gang attack a homeless man in the park one night. When they jump her she is protected by the mysterious leader of another gang, Lobo.

I liked Maddie because she is so determined, but there were times where I wasn't so sure about the decisions she made. Then there was Lobo. He was really interesting and I liked learning more about him. There were plenty of interesting side characters too. I have to say though that I was not much of a fan of her friend Iz.

The plot was captivating and exciting. There was a lot of action. However, it was also really predictable. I think that the story could have been paced much better. Some aspects of the plot were not given enough time to develop and I would have liked to see some parts slowed down. For instance I really found that the relationship between Maddie and Lobo came across as more insta-love. The characters had chemistry, but the romance did not come across as realistic for me. Besides those issues though I did enjoy the plot a lot.

Overall On the Edge is an exciting story that will hook you in from the beginning.

(Summary from goodreads.com)

Find Me I'm Yours was a really fun and interactive book. I have read a few books that have had some interactive things included in them, but I have never read anything that included as much as this book. There were tons of websites to click through, videos, lists, and photos. It was just an enjoyable story to read.

Find Me I'm Yours is the story of Mags who finds herself on a treasure hunt for her soul mate when she buys a used camera. Mags personality really jumped off the pages from the beginning. The photos and the lists included didn't just bring me into Mags world, but it also gave me the chance to get to know her better. I think that it was the lists where Mags sense of humor really came across. There were also some great side characters, like Coco.

The plot was fun and cute, but still had some more serious moments too. The ending wasn't all that I was expecting either, so I liked that it took me by surprise. The plot did feel a bit rushed in places though so I do wish that some areas of were developed more thoroughly. I've always been a bit cautious about interactive books because I worry that clicking through things will take me out of the story, but I never felt like that while I was reading this. The pictures gave me a chance to see for myself some of the artwork, clues, and the places that Mags was going to. When a website, picture, or a list appeared in the book, it all connected well with what was currently happening in the plot.

Overall I really liked reading Find Me I'm Yours. It was a whole different type of reading experience. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and different type of book.
