Banned Books Week Giveaway Hop

The Banned Books Week Hop is hosted by BookHounds and I Am a Reader. There are over 100 blogs involved in the hop so make sure you visit every site for a greater chance to win!

I'm so happy to be participating in the Banned Books Week Hop again this year. Banned Books Week is an annual event about celebrating the freedom to read. If you would like to learn more about Banned Books Week and the most challenged books of 2012, then head on over to http://www.bannedbooksweek.org

For this stop on the hop I'm offering one of my favorite banned or challenged books to one winner. The winner can choose from either Looking for Alaska by John Green, Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher, The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, or Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. The giveaway is open only to US residents who are 13 or older. Good Luck!

  2. It's absolutely ridiculous HOW MANY books are on banned lists. I just looked up a list to see what new books were added and I can't believe The Hunger Games was banned! I mean, I can believe it due to the violence, but it's still ridiculous.

Anyway, thank you for the giveaway and for helping to get some of these banned books into open minded readers hands. :)

  4. I love Scary Stories and those books make the challenged list every year! It is silly-ness!

Nevertheless, Eleanor and Park is on my to-read list! I can't wait to get ahold of a copy. Here's hoping I win!
