Blogiversary Giveaway Day 2

Yay day 2 of my 2nd Blogiversary celebration! If you haven't seen day 1 yet and entered the first giveaway then go here: Day 1

For day 2, I thought I would share with you all my list of my favorite Young Adult books of all time. These are the books that I can read over and over again.

10.) The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer
I know this isn't a popular choice but this series holds a really special place for me and I'm actually writing up a post for the end of the month that explains it. In shorter words though this series gave me a escape from reality during a really difficult time.
9.) Vampire Academy/Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
I've read everything by Richelle Mead actually but I just completely love this series. I've already read it about three times and Rose is hands down one of my top favorite female protagonists ever.
8.) Divergent by Veronica Roth
I love this book a lot and I talk about it incessantly. I try to make everyone I know read this book. Tris is such a fantastic character and also on that list of top female protagonists.
7.) Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
This book was like a heartwrenching wake up call the first time I read it. If there was ever a book that changed me then this would be it. The moment I put this book down was the moment I started to become even more aware of the people around me. It taught me just how much a small gesture could affect a person's life.
6.) Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I had to put this on the list because I have read this series six times so far. I love it and Daemon may have something to do with that too. This series is becoming my go to cheer up book. It's just a fun book and no matter how many times I read it, I still laugh at the same lines.
5.) Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
This was a book that completely took me by surprise in the best possible way. It was a story that I personally really connected with and that definitely is one of the reasons why I loved it so much. It's such a beautiful story and I love these characters!
4.) The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins
I'll never forget the first time I read these books. I stayed up until dawn to finish. When Mockingjay came out, I couldn't wait to go to the store so at midnight I got the e-book and stayed up once again all night to finish. This is another series that sent me through a crazy mix of emotions. I loved every second of it though and Katniss is at the top of that list for strong female protagonists.
3.) The Mortal Instruments/The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
I love this series so much! I talk about these books incessantly with my family and friends. I love that there is just a bit of everything in this series from magic to romance. Also Jace may play a role in this too. :)
2.) The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
I don't know how to put into words what this book makes me feel every time I read it. I can't help but cry and laugh every single time. I even have a tattoo that is related to my favorite quote in this book.
1.) The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
This book is number one because never has a book made me so emotional. I cried so much that I was sobbing at one point and woke everyone in the house up at one in the morning. This book didn't just make me sad though. It made me laugh and it definitely made me think. I'm a big fan of John Green but this is by far my favorite book.

To answer my own question, I would probably choose being a dark caster. (I swear I'm not an evil person!) The dark casters just seem fun and Ridley is my favorite character in the series.
*Don't forget to stop by again tomorrow for another giveaway :)

I am the same way with Twilight. I know a lot of people kind of laugh about the books (and movies) but I always loved them and they mean a lot to me for so many reasons as well. I look forward to that post later on. :)

  6. I haven't read any of this series. It is on my TBR list though and I definitely want to read the first book before the movie. I think I would be a light caster. I'm afraid of the dark and I'm not really an evil person. I'm too bubbly for evilness. :)
