Waiting on Wednesday #46: Undeadly
Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases.
Undeadly
By: Michele Vail
Release Date: November 20, 2012
"The day I turned 16, my boyfriend-to-be died. I brought him back to life. Then things got a little weird... Molly Bartolucci wants to blend in, date hottie Rick and keep her zombie-raising abilities on the down-low. Then the god Anubis chooses her to become a reaper—and she accidentally undoes the work of another reaper, Rath. Within days, she’s shipped off to the Nekyia Academy, an elite school that trains the best necromancers in the world. And her personal reaping tutor? Rath. Who seems to hate her guts. Rath will be watching closely to be sure she completes her first assignment-reaping Rick, the boy who should have died. The boy she still wants to be with. To make matters worse, students at the academy start turning up catatonic, and accusations fly—against Molly. The only way out of this mess? To go through hell. Literally." (Summary from goodreads.com)
I have been looking forward to Undeadly for some time now because it sounds really good!

This one sounds really good. I haven't read many paranormal books lately but this one sounds too awesome to pass up. Great pick :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, this sounds different! I love the idea of necromancy and reapers and it sounds like the protagonist is in a sticky situation with Rath. Great pick!
ReplyDeleteThis book fascinates me so, so much. I don't know what it is about characters gifted with necromancy, but they make for such intriguing books. Great pick!

Yesss! :D Love the cover, and love the concept. Necromancy is always a huge plus. We don't see too much of it in YA these days. *-*
ReplyDeleteI've had this book on my TBR for such a long time now! It sounds amazing. It's not too often where you read about a book with necromancy! And the main character sounds like she's funny and sarcastic, which are my favorite types of characters. Sarcasm can make everything better! <3 Anyways, awesome choice. =) November is just too far away!
ReplyDelete-Aneeqah @ My Not So Real Life
Sounds pretty good to me with the necromancy being the featured paranormal aspect!
ReplyDeleteOur WoW is at Book Sake. –Jessica
This sounds really interesting! I'm definitely adding it to my TBR list for this fall.
